Frank Lawrence Hickey worked for the Los Angeles Police Department from 1996 to 2008. He worked as a detective in high crime areas, helping the most vulnerable population also in 3 different states (Arizona, Washington and New Jersey). Frank Hickey knows foreign languages, which helped him in his work and communication with the victims and the accused. A dignified attitude towards people, the ability to help in a crisis situation and compliance with high ethical standards are the most important meaning for him.

In 2022, Frank decided to help the people of Ukraine, came to Odessa and became a volunteer of the "Prosperity" charitable foundation.
